What is Phase3Canine?
This style of training uses 3 basic phases of training that I will be personally teaching you; The first phase is to teach your dog how to learn which will reinforce positive decisions to do what is asked. This will lay a solid foundation for the next phase. The second phase of training is Generalization. Building on the foundation from Phase one, I will show you how to encourage your dog to become more well rounded and eager to please. The third phase is the Maintenance phase. It is not uncommon to have a dog begin to revert back into their less desirable behaviors over time. If Phase three is needed, I will meet with you and your dog to assess the nature and severity of regression. The assessment will be used to develop a comprehensive correction plan that will reestablish the desired behavior from your pet.
To acquire the appropriate association, it is up to you, to make it as simple as possible for your dog to make the connection of what you are commanding of him/her. Sessions will be 1-hour long and will be separated into short training times usually 10min with a 10min break in between to make training fun, interesting and keep your pet fully engaged. You want your pet to look forward to learning and this can be achieved with positive reinforcement!
Let me help you train your pet and give you the confidence that you need to correct undesirable behavior or train a new desired behavior. Sometimes it feels like training your dog is too hard but I can make it easy for you and worth your time to have a well behaved and happy dog. The first step is to contact me and let me provide you with a plan.
Our goal at Phase3Canine is to give you the tools to train your pet for any situation. Every dog is different and you will need to base your training accordingly. I have trained hundreds of dogs over many years and I guarantee that I can help you. I will give you the step by step process to allow you to feel confident to continue the trainer roll. Your dog is capable of learning new things no matter the breed or age he/she is. Training must be consistent and with the tools that I provide, training will no longer be a chore. Let me help you transform your pet into the companion you have always wanted.

Cole, a 4 year old Labrador. Just completed Phase 1 of training with my pup and could not be happier with the results! Phase3Canine’s train the trainer approach ensures that you have the ability to continue teaching your dog outside of paid sessions. The simple “games” that are taught during class are explained and demonstrated, then you, the human, are put to the test. These games can then be done at home on your own time! Simply putting in a couple 5-10 minute sessions a day, at my own pace and at my own house, kept my pup on the up and up for the next paid session. I, for one, had great results with Phase 1 and can not wait for our Phase 2 training to start!
